The fact is, you can do nothing and still become something. Even people who aren’t planning their lives and aren’t paying attention have opportunities fall into their laps. The problem is, they also sometimes wake up half way through their lives and realize what they have is not what they want.
Don’t work on goals that are not yours. Take the time to figure out what it is you really want, what really excites you, what motivates you. Who set the path you are walking on?
Humans are creatures of habit and it’s easy to develop habits that limit us...You can achieve more than you are achieving now if you create a clear vision of what you want, write it down, and commit to the actions necessary to fulfill that vision. That’s what goal setting is all about.
